Treatment for Night Sweats

Fluid intake

Exercise

Avoid any intense exercise before bed. You do not want a high heart rate or blood pressure in the period before bed as it will increase the chances of suffering from night sweats. Having exercise before bed will also make it more difficult for you to actually fall asleep.

Relaxation exercises

Learn some relaxation exercises that will calm your nerves. It might be good idea to practice them before bed allowing your body to be relaxed and ready to sleep before you even hop into bed.

Alcohol and Stimulants

Avoid consuming any alcohol or any stimulants before bed as this will cause further sleeping problems and probably promote night sweats and terrors. The best thing to do is to avoid drinking alcohol for a period of at least 2 hours before you hit the pillow. Further to that it will help also if you do not eat at least 2 hours before bedtime.
